I love kids and loved the idea of getting more kids on bikes, so how could I say no. However, after volunteering for this coaching position I realized that I was actually going to have to ride my mountain bike every week.
I was also forced to challenge myself throughout the weekend. Truly stepping outside my comfort zone is not something I do every day and it is hard and uncomfortable.
Have some kind of training plan for your indoor training. If you are just pedaling along on the trainer with the same intensity every time you ride you are doing yourself a disservice.
